Charter to Keep Festival-Goers Connected at Bonnaroo with Free Wi-Fi Service Based on Cisco Technology.

Charter Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: CHTR) will provide wireless Internet access to festival-goers at this year's Bonnaroo Music Festival based on innovative technology from Cisco Systems Inc. Free Wi-Fi access will be provided in designated areas to festival organizers, artists and the general public in one of the largest, single Wi-Fi deployments in the United States, with a coverage area of over five square miles.

Over 90,000 people are expected to attend Bonnaroo, which will be held from June 11-13, 2004 in Manchester, Tenn., and will feature some of the biggest names in the music business. Business-class Wi-Fi services are required to provide access at ticket entrances and at public Wi-Fi access tents in the Bonnaroo Festival Village. Festival-goers will also stay connected with friends and family using a new electronic message board application developed by Charter and the Bonnaroo Organizers.
