Charter One Financial Inc., Cleveland, has entered into an agreement with Tops Friendly Markets to open approximately 34 new grocery store branches in Greater Cleveland as well as other northern Ohio and western New York markets. Most of the new, in-store branches will open during the first half of this year and will increase Charter One's total in-store network to 84 from the previous number of 50.
