Charter Bank Names James Garvey as Chief Executive Officer.


BELLEVUE, Wash. -- The Charter Bank Board of Directors today announced the appointment of James Garvey as chief executive officer effective September 1, 2009, in anticipation of Keith Jackson's planned retirement in 2010. Mr. Garvey was elected at the recent August Board meeting. Mr. Garvey was hired as president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
