system (the "O2Guardian"(TM)) provides home care liquid oxygen distributors with up-to-date information on the liquid level of their home patients' oxygen reservoirs. This assures that patients will not experience "run-outs" that cause costly emergency fills. It further enables distributors to make deliveries only when needed, thereby reducing their total number of deliveries. The O2Guardian also incorporates a powerful logistic tool that optimizes the distributors' fleet logistics. In addition to monitoring liquid oxygen patients, dealers can use the CoolTel's Count Scout(TM) System to monitor usage and schedule deliveries of high-pressure oxygen high-pressure oxygen

"Home medical equipment suppliers have been asking for help to reduce the costs of their oxygen delivery operations and we are demonstrating that telemetry provides the dramatic impact they need in this regard," said John Hupp, President of CoolTel. "The acceptance of the O2Guardian by some leading health care dealers is a very significant step for the health care industry."

Hupp further stated, "We beta tested the O2Guardian for five months and have achieved some impressive results. We were able to increase patient cycle times (intervals between deliveries) in some cases over 200 percent and thereby significantly reduce the number of deliveries. Our customers will be able to add additional patients without increasing the number of vehicles or driver hours. We anticipate further improvement in efficiencies throughout our customers' operations as we roll out telemetry to their other depots."

Chart's CoolTel division is a leading provider of telemetry solutions for the health care industry, connecting customers with their dispersed assets. CoolTel's web-based solutions allow managers to access timely and accurate information to more efficiently operate their business. Holmes continued, "We are pleased to announce CoolTel's commercial launch and the addition of these services to Chart's product portfolio."
