Chart Industries Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend.

For example, automatic number identification (ANI) allows a caller's records to be retrieved from the database while the call is routed to the appropriate party. ) today announced that the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.075 per common share payable on December 15, 1997, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 1997. This cash dividend represents a 25 percent increase over the previous quarterly dividend rate of $0.06 per common share.

"Chart Industries is on track to report its third consecutive year of record financial results," commented Arthur S. Holmes, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Our strategies to generate profitable growth have yielded excellent results. We are pleased to be able to increase Chart's dividend and further enhance shareholder value."

For the nine-month period that ended September 30, 1997, Chart reported record net income of $15.0 million, or $1.01 per share, on record sales of $136.1 million.
