Chart Industries Awarded Heat Exchanger Contract Through Its ALTEC Subsidiary.

:CTI) today announced that its ALTEC ALTEC Algorithms for Future Technologies
ALTEC All Technical (original name for Altec Lansing) 
 International subsidiary was recently awarded a large contract from ABB Lummus Global of Bloomfield, New Jersey, to supply brazed aluminum heat exchangers and related assemblies for use in construction of the world's largest single-train steam cracker plant. This order is expected to ship during the third quarter of 1999.

This new olefins complex, which will be located in Port Arthur, Texas Port Arthur is a city in Jefferson County within the Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area and is situated in southeast Texas.
