Charmilles promotes 'win-win-win' strategy.

Key executives from the Swiss-based Agie Charmilles, the manufacturing technology group of the Georg Fisher Corp, told reporters at IMTS IMTS International Manufacturing Technology Show

HSM and EDM are complementing each other to an ever-increasing degree at various stages of production, leading to the creation of a common customer base, the executives said.

"The addition of Mikron to the Agie Charmilles Group will prove advantageous not only to Mikron, but to our customers as well," said Michael Hauser, Mikron president. "Now customers have a competent partner for all their moldmaking needs, including EDM and high speed machining. "It's a win-win-win situation," he declared.
