Charlotte Pipe and Foundry A semiconductor manufacturer that makes chips for third parties. . The transaction results in the suspension of several of Thompson's products until Charlotte Pipe can further study those particular markets. Charlotte Pipe officials said the acquisition will allow the metalcasting company to better serve its customers in the CPVC-CTS hot- and cold-water product market. Thompson's facility will remain open under the Charlotte Pipe name.
