has been named as the world's best-dressed man by style bible Esquire magazine.

Charles, 60, who has worn suits by Savile Row Savile Row occupies a quiet corner of Mayfair in central London near Bond Street and is famous for its men's bespoke tailoring.

Many of the greatest, most famous or most infamous men in history have patronised the many tailors that occupy this street; men such as Winston
tailors Gieves and Hawkes for years, beat leading figures like American President Barack Obama and rapper Andre 3000 to claim the title.

The heir to the throne has ignored trends and stuck to his favoured double-breasted suits for decades, and it was his continually smart appearance that appealed to the judges.

Esquire described the Prince as "always incredibly well dressed, as befits his position as the heir to the throne. He is perfectly turned out in a double-breasted suit.

Admirably, the Prince keeps his wardrobe in appropriate style.

"We're told he has a room laid out like a tailor's shop."

The Prince's accessories usually include a pocket handkerchief, silk tie and shoes by John Lobb, which cost more than pounds 2,600 a pair.
