Charles Mancini, Ridge Organization, inducted to Builders' Hall of Fame.

Charles Mancini, president of Long Island's Park Ridge Organization will be recognized for his extensive contributions to the building industry as he is inducted into the New York State Builders Association Hall of Fame on October 7, 2004. The Hall of Fame, sponsored by NYSBA's Research and Education Foundation and underwritten by the State of New York Mortgage Agency, recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the housing industry in New York State.

Charles Mancini has been active in New York State's building industry for over three decades. His contributions to builders throughout the state in the area of government and legal affairs are unmatched. He was instrumental in the development of the New York State Warranty Law, NYSBA Legal Defense Fund and the Long Island Pine Barrens Commission. In addition to these accomplishments, he de,signed a model for industry multi-party negotiations.

Mancini's role in New York's building industry associations has been equally extensive. He served as president of the New York State Builders Association in 1989 and remains a board member today. He is also currently aboard member of the Long Island Builders Institute, after serving the organization in a variety of roles, including president and chairman. In addition, he is a life director of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
