Mr. Evans took office as the ninth president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago on September 1, 2007. Prior to becoming president, Mr. Evans was director of research and a senior vice president at the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank. He oversaw o·ver·saw v.
