He was the husband of Betty L. (Konings) Kuipers. A longtime resident of Whitinsville, Mr. Kuipers was employed at General Motors Corp., Framingham for 30 years. He was an accomplished artist who celebrated nature through his art. He loved time spent with his grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. and teaching them to draw. He also enjoyed freshwater fishing. He emigrated to this country from Friesland, Holland in 1951 and served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Cold War. Mr. Kuipers was a longtime member of the Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church Christian Reformed Church, denomination formed after the secession of a group from the Reformed Church in America in 1857. Colonists from Holland who began settling in Michigan in 1846 generally became members of the Reformed (Dutch) church there. , Whitinsville and was a past Deacon. Mr. and Mrs. Kuipers observed their 50th wedding anniversary on April 27th. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, George B. and his wife Sandra Kuipers of Sutton, Peter C. and his wife Tamar Kuipers of Winchendon, and Joel L. Kuipers of Charlton; 3 foster children including Donna Cormier, Trena Welsh, and David Dumas; 2 brothers Gordon Kuipers of North Haledon, NJ and Oscar Kuipers of Whitinsville; 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter Kuipers and a sister, Gloria Kuipers.
