Established in 1971 by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), NASDAQ is an automated quotation system that reports on :ANDW) Group President, Wireless and In-building Products. Mr. Jacobs will have worldwide responsibility for the company's RADIAX(R) cable, in-building, and underground RF systems product lines. He will also lead Andrew Corporation's wireless accessories division -- supplier of mobile handset accessories and mobile antennas, including hands-free kits and speakerphone solutions for cellular and PCS handsets and paging devices. This group also provides telematics products to automotive manufacturers. Mr. Jacobs, 39, joins Andrew from Motorola in Libertyville, Illinois, where he was most recently Director, Global Strategic Marketing for Motorola's Personal Communications Sector business. Prior to that he was Vice President of Product Management for Philips Consumer Communications Philips Consumer Communications, L.P. was a $2.5 billion joint venture of Lucent Technologies and Royal Philips Electronics formed on October 7, 1997.
