Charles Gumbiner.


Charles Gumbiner, a former president of the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Chapter, died Aug. 4. He was 81.

Gumbiner founded the firm that is now Santa Monica-based Gumbiner Savett Inc., one of the largest locally owned accounting firms in California.

He was active in CalCPA leadership at the chapter and state level, serving on CalCPA's board of directors (1998-2001) and on CalCPA Council (2001-04). Gumbiner also served as president of the Los Angeles Chapter (1987-88).

Gumbiner was a member of CalCPA's AP & AS and Careers in Accounting committees for many years, as well as the Litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute.

When a person begins a civil lawsuit, the person enters into a process called litigation.
 Consulting Services section (now the Litigation Services section). He was also a longtime member of the Los Angeles Chapter's Real Estate committee.

Gumbiner attended Los Angeles High School Los Angeles High School, founded in 1873, is the oldest public high school in the Southern California Region and in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Its colors are blue and white and the teams are called the Romans.  and received a bachelor's degree in accounting from UCLA UCLA University of California at Los Angeles

"Charles was a brother, a colleague, a friend and an inspiration," says Lou Savett, chair of Gumbiner Savett. "He resembled no one, and never sought to emulate anyone. He refused to accept failures and was not intimidated by pinnacles. He had a great impact on everyone he came in contact with, especially on me. The sadness of his passing illuminates the abundance of his contributions."

Gumbiner is survived by his wife, Tessie; brothers, Marshall and Jack; his children, Jann Ezroj, Bruce, Tracy Roeder, Lynn Delemo and Jill; and grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. , Justin, Tiffany, Jacob, Nora, Aaron, Daniel, David and Caleigh.
