Key New Hire Brings Extensive Industry Experience, Business & Client Relationship Development Skills

TYSONS CORNER, Va. -- Cubellis, a national, architecture, interior design and engineering services firm, is pleased to announce that Charles Garrison, RA, has joined the firm as Managing Principal, Architecture. In this capacity, he will add senior leadership to the Tysons Corner studio, with a focus on residential, retail and hospitality work in the Washington DC metro area.

Charles joins Cubellis from Perkowitz + Ruth Architects, where he was Director, Eastern Region, responsible for regional office operations, including business development, oversight of project delivery and quality control, and financial, personnel, and administrative management. In this position, he directed the growth of this office from 8 to almost 40 people, playing an integral role in the growth of annual revenues by approximately 800%.

Charles has also held senior leadership positions with various Virginia and Maryland firms during his career, including Jonathan Nehmer + Associates, Inc., and GNM GNM General Nursing and Midwifery

 & Associates, Inc. He also established and ran his own firm, Garrison - Schurter Architects, of McLean, Virginia.

His professional experience includes extensive work in the hospitality sector, but also includes commercial, government, health care, residential, and educational projects, including fourteen elementary and middle schools.

Charles holds a Master of Architecture Degree from Catholic University of America Catholic University of America, at Washington, D.C.; the national university of the Roman Catholic Church in the United States; coeducational; founded 1887 and opened 1889.  and a Bachelor's Degree in from United States Naval Academy United States Naval Academy, at Annapolis, Md.; for training young men and women to be officers of the U.S. navy or marine corps.
