Charles Dodge Jr.


LANCASTER - Charles E. Dodge Jr., 84, of Lancaster, formerly of Concord, passed away on Saturday, March 14, in Leominster Hospital, surrounded by his daughters. His wife of 48 years, Lillian R. (Florin) Dodge, passed away in July 2001.

He was the son of the late Charles E. and Florence (Holbrook) Dodge, of Portland, Maine Portland is the largest city in the U.S. state of Maine, with a 2004 population of 63,882. Portland is Maine's cultural, social and economic capital. Tourists are drawn to Portland's historic Old Port district along Portland Harbor, which is at the mouth of the Fore River and part , and was a direct descendent of Zachary Taylor, 12th president of the United States The head of the Executive Branch, one of the three branches of the federal government.

. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, stationed in England during the Second World War.

A steel-rule diemaker, he worked at the Container Corporation of America Container Corporation of America (CCA) was founded in 1926 and is possibly currently a wholly- or partially-owned subsidiary of Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. CCA manufactures corrugated boxes. , Medford, and Boutwell-Owens, Fitchburg.

He is survived by his four daughters, Marcia A. Dodge of Quincy, Patricia Dodge of Clinton, Pamela Ming of Melbourne, Fla., and Lesley D. Glennon of Townsend; a son-in-law, James F. Glennon Jr.; three beloved grandchildren, Erin Todisco of West Melbourne West Melbourne may be:
