Charles' very happy birthday.


THE Prince of Wales' 60th birthday celebrations continue today with a Buckingham Palace event hosted by the Queen.

Charles turns 60 tomorrow and will be marking the milestone with two parties - the first staged tonight at the royal residence.

On Saturday, the Duchess of Cornwall The Duchess of Cornwall is the title held by the wife of the Duke of Cornwall. Duke of Cornwall is a non-hereditary peerage held by the British Sovereign's eldest son and heir.  will host a private party for her husband which is expected to be more informal than the Buckingham Palace celebration.

Last night Charles, Camilla and Prince Harry enjoyed stand-up routines, sketches and music by Rowan Atkinson, comic Bill Bailey and movie star Robin Williams to mark the 60th birthday.

The We Are Most Amused evening, at the New Wimbledon Theatre The New Wimbledon Theatre is situated on The Broadway, Wimbledon, London, in the London Borough of Merton. It is a Grade II listed Edwardian theatre built by the theatre lover and entrepreneur, J B Mullholland. , was hosted by Monty Python star John Cleese.

Afterwards the royal guests joked with the entertainers. At one point Harry quipped to Cleese: "I'm not ginger. I'm auburn, that's what I've been told."
