"I love husky dogs, but haven't had the pleasure of seeing one up close, so this really appealed to me. "When my grandma died I thought I should do something for charity." Stephanie needs to raise a minimum of pounds 2,000 for her expedition. She has already gathered pounds 1,200 through her own fundraising efforts - including events with her rock 'n' roll band JB Goode. She said: "I have raised a lot of the money myself, but any sponsorship anyone would like to offer would be really helpful." Anyone who wants to help Stephanie can contact her on 07799 644362. |
