Charity plea over cards.

Tyneside is a conurbation in northern England, which is home to over 80% of the metropolitan county of Tyne and Wear.
 charity shop is appealing to shoppers to buy its Christmas cards.

Newcastle's Mind charity shop has seen sales drop by 46%, prompting concerns that recent postal strikes have put people off buying cards.

Now bosses at the Clayton Street shop are appealing for help.

"Buying cards directly from the shops is a great way of giving to charity." Unlike buying charity cards from another retailer, 100% of the proceeds from cards bought in Mind shops go straight to the charity.
