Charity day.THE TJFA in conjunction with Wilton Golf Club are holding a charity golf day on Friday, July 3rd at Wilton Golf Club. On the day there will be opportunities to win football-related prizes for the football club each four-man team represents. The event will benefit The Great North Air Ambulance The Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) is an English charity based in the United Kingdom. It provides air ambulance services across the North of England from the Scottish border south to North Yorkshire in the east and Cumbria in the west. and Zoe's Place Childrens Hospice, and is open to people who run junior football clubs, parents or even club or team sponsors. The winning team prize will be a complete football kit up to the age of 16, kindly sponsored by MSV mSv Millisievert (measure of radiation dose) MSV Medical Society of Virginia MSV Maize Streak Virus MSV Mobile Satellite Ventures LP (Reston, Virginia) MSV Men Stopping Violence Sport. Runner-up prizes are to be confirmed. And any player who is lucky enough to have a "Hole in One" at the short par 3 16th hole, could be in with the chance to win a mini bus for the sole use of their football club. This has been sponsored jointly by Euremica and a local insurance company. The cost per four-man team is pounds 110, and is open to those over 16 years and with a golf handicap A golf handicap is a numerical measure of an amateur golfer's playing ability. It can be used to calculate a net score from the number of strokes actually played, thus allowing players of different proficiency to play against each other on somewhat equal terms. .
