Charity boost for ambulance.


THE GREAT North Air Ambulance The Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) is an English charity based in the United Kingdom. It provides air ambulance services across the North of England from the Scottish border south to North Yorkshire in the east and Cumbria in the west.  has received a pounds 1,250 charity cash boost.

The Rotary Club of Monkseaton Centenary presented their cheque to help with the operating costs operating costs nplgastos mpl operacionales  of the service's helicopter.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service offers a free service and relies entirely on the generosity of the general public and local organisations because it receives no Government funding.

As part of its annual Christmas Appeal, Rotary distributed prepaid envelopes to thousands of homes throughout the country asking for mobile telephones to be sent for recycling, with up to pounds 10 being received by for each one received by the recycling comp any.

Speaking at a presentation at the Ambulance's headquarters, club president Tahir Rashid said that he had been most impressed by the fact that the GNAAS GNAAS Great North Air Ambulance Service (UK)
GNAAS Ghana National Association of Adventist Students
 could deploy more than one aircraft, if necessary.

He added: "I was terrifically impressed by the speed at which each helicopter can reach the scene of an incident, anywhere in the north of England."
