In 2003 marketing boss Brett was twice caught driving with no insurance and was given 12 points - normally enough for a ban.

In 2004 he ran up three more points for speeding and in the same year another 13 points for two speeding offences and having no insurance.

Dianne Ferreira, from Brake, said: "This case is unbelievable.
