Charity ball for brave Johanna.LEUKAEMIA patient Johanna McVicar's inspirational life is being celebrated tomorrow night at a special charity bash. The star-studded Rainbow Dinner, which will raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, will honour Johanna, who died in 2005 at the age of just 27. Johanna, of Bishopton, Renfrewshire Bishopton (Baile an Easbaig in Scottish Gaelic) is a large village in Renfrewshire, Scotland, a few miles west of Erskine. Transport Links Bishopton sits a couple of miles from the southern end of the Erskine Bridge, which spans the River Clyde between , campaigned tirelessly for the charity register of bone marrow donors. Sadly, she died before a match was found for her. But she won many hearts along the way, and persuaded pop star Robbie Williams to sign up to the register after they met. He is currently assistant manager at Scottish Premier League club Rangers. involved in her campaign. The glittering event will be held at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel and be hosted by DJ Suzie Maguire - Johanna's close pal. There will be performances from Michelle McManus and champion dancers Victor da Silva and Hanna Kartunnen.
