Charity bags pounds 75k; the Razz.

Byline: BEV LYONS

JOHN Amabile John Amabile (prenounced Am-ab-illy) is a Scottish interior designer. He is best known in Scotland and the UK for his work on many TV shows. Biography
Born in 1964, John grew up in the Ralston district of Paisley, Renfrewshire.
got into a bidding war over a Sex And The City handbag at a charity lunch.

The designer was keen to get his mitts on an Eiffel Tower Eiffel Tower, structure designed by A. G. Eiffel and erected in the Champ-de-Mars for the Paris exposition of 1889. The tower is 984 ft (300 m) high and consists of an iron framework supported on four masonry piers, from which rise four columns uniting to form one  bag, as sported by Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex And The City film. Alas, his pounds 750 bid wasn't good enough at the Prince's Trust lunch in Edinburgh's stylish Prestonfield House.

The auction and lunch were the real winners, though, raising pounds 75,000 for charity.
