The motion says: "We applaud CRY for the support it offers those who have suffered loss from sudden cardiac death. We praise its projection of heart screening as a simple way of diagnosing most cardiac abnormalities".

It also welcomes the charity's contribution to medical research and its donation of 39 electro-cardiogram machines in surgeries, accident and emergency centres and cardiac wards.
