 Fusiliers, plans to abseil the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead Hotel, in aid of Disability North.

John was in the army for 13 years but had to leave after a car accident left him blind in one eye.

John said: "After being in the Army, I was unsure what I wanted to do with my life. Volunteering at Disability North has been a great experience - I have learnt so many skills."
