KEY POINTS FROM GIVING USA 2003

-- The one percent rate of growth in giving in 2002 was higher

than the 0.5 percent increase in 2001. The estimated growth in

giving is mirrored by reported charitable revenue at

non-profit organizations in 2002. The Giving USA survey

indicated that 49 percent of non-profit organizations reported

an increase, 46 percent reported a decrease and five percent

reported no change in charitable revenue in 2002 when compared

to 2001.
