Charities share pounds 5,000 donation; TAMWORTH.

THREE worthy local charities have been chosen to benefit from Tamworth Football Club's pounds 5,000 share from the Football Association's 2006 Community Shield Fund.

The club has decided to allocate To reserve a resource such as memory or disk. See memory allocation.  pounds 2,500 to St Giles Hospice hospice, program of humane and supportive care for the terminally ill and their families; the term also applies to a professional facility that provides care to dying patients who can no longer be cared for at home.  at Whittington, and pounds 1,250 each to the Opportunities Social Club for adults with learning difficulties and Tamworth Heritage Trust.

Nigel Brindley, Opportunities Social Club chairman, said: "I'm delighted to receive the cheque from Tamworth Football Club.

"It will enable us to purchase more equipment and arrange more activities for our members."

 said: "We have so much to be proud about, and Tamworth FC's magnificent donation will really help us."
