Charisma to Present 75th Academy Award Show Floral Presentation.

 display of more than 75,000 blooms adorning the Kodak Theater located at the Hollywood Highland Complex for the 75th Annual Academy Awards presentation.

Pasadena-based Charisma Designs President, Larry Crain, stated, "Charisma is proud to be presenting the floral production for the tenth year and especially for this special 75th Anniversary Show. Flowers are grown mainly in the State of California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W). . They include a variety of roses, casablanca lilies, mountain lilies, iris, carnations, star gazer lilies, alstromeria, cymbidium orchids, dendrobium orchids and other exotics."

Exotic arrangements will be placed in the celebrity dressing rooms and VIP Offices. Floral presentations will enhance the Artist Entrance, Winner's Walk, and the Press Rooms.

Charisma Floats/Designs also builds floats for the Tournament of Roses Parade The Tournament of Roses Parade was established, and first held, on January 1,1890, in Pasadena, California, eight miles (13 km) northeast of Downtown Los Angeles.

Rooted in tradition, this parade is broadcast on multiple television networks, watched by upwards of one
, in addition to their annual presentation of the Academy Awards Floral Presentation. The schedule for "dressing" the Kodak Theater for the Academy Awards this year is as follows:
-- Tuesday, March 18: Flowers arrive at the Kodak Theater at 9:00am for processing and designing at the Charisma location in the Arrivals Lot next to Grauman's Chinese Theater.

-- Tuesday, March 18 to Sunday, March 23: All production to be completed for weekend. All arrangements to be installed in and around the Red Carpet Walkway, Orchid Walk, Theater entrance, Artist entrance, Dressing Rooms and VIP areas.
