opened one which is the Corniche cor·niche n. A road that winds along the side of a steep coast or cliff. [Short for French route en corniche : route, road + en, on + corniche, Beach here. A beach sprawling with cottages and fast food centres and a haven every weekend of all people regardless of age, race and colour...However, the joys of beach goers were only short lived because a week ago, the Abu Dhabi Beach Management imposed the ten dirhams entrance fee sparing no one, the very young and the very old people alike.This is unreasonable because the beach is government owned and therefore it should be free for the public. Ten dirhams is too much especially for expats receiving ten or less than ten dirhams per hour from work.Before the imposition of the entrance fee, we used to sit down on the sands feeling the summer breeze while we sculpted sculpt v. sculpt·ed, sculpt·ing, sculpts v.tr. 1. To sculpture (an object). 2. To shape, mold, or fashion especially with artistry or precision: sand castles...Now, this is the thing of the past because ten dirhams is more valuable when it goes to our daily basic needs more than the pleasure it may offer us.
