upon receipt of my Credimax statement, I realised that I had been
charged twice for the purchase of one ticket.
I immediately contacted the Credimax customer service who were kind enough to assist me with the necessary procedure of sending a complain form and the amount was credited back to my account. This month again I purchased five e- tickets from Bahrain Air for India using two visa cards. After the purchase I tried using one of the visa cards and noticed that it was being declined, although I was sure that there were sufficient funds for it to have reached its credit limit. I contacted the Credimax customer service again and was surprised to know that Bahrain Air had once again charged my credit card twice for a single transaction. I checked the other card and yes, this too had been charged twice and I was unaware since I had not used it. Both the visa cards had been charged twice and it seems that this is a normal procedure for Bahrain Air! So if a person forgets to check his visa statement or does not realise that his/her card has been charged twice, Bahrain Air is going to make huge profits at our cost and we pay the extra interest on the credit balance, which simultaneously increases the profits of the bank too! Can Bahrain Air clarify this method of charging its customers twice and let me know until when this will continue so that I avoid purchasing any e-tickets until then and follow the Manama Suq suq n.
