Charade (Sky Movies Classics, 7.05pm).


A WIDOW is distraught to learn her husband was murdered for taking part in a lucrative robbery.

Unfortunately, the loot has gone missing, and now the dead man's former accomplices are trying to track her down to find out where it is.

Not knowing where to turn, she accepts an offer of help from a handsome stranger, but isn't certain whether she can trust him.

Charade was filmed virtually back-to-back with Paris - When It Sizzles, and the small park with the Punch and Judy Punch and Judy, famous English puppet play, very popular with children and given widely by strolling puppet players, especially during the Christmas season. It came to England in the 17th cent.  puppet stage appears in both features.
