Chapura(R), Inc., has announced the release of updates to their Microsoft(R) Outlook(R) synchronization software--PocketMirror(R) 3.1 Standard and PocketMirror(R) 3.1 Professional. Both PocketMirror(R) 3.1 updates offer refinements that will make users' lives easier and their handhelds even more effective.

PocketMirror 3.1 Standard is an updated version of the original PocketMirror Standard, which is bundled with every Palm(R) handheld, Handspring(TM) Visor, IBM(R) WorkPad(R), HandEra(TM) 330, Kyocera(TM) ACP6035, and Samsung SPH-I300 being shipped today. This software application synchronizes data between the Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes main folders with the Palm OS(R) Date Book, Address List, To Do List and Memo Pad.

In addition to the changes made to PocketMirror 3.1 Standard, enhancements to PocketMirror 3.1 Professional involve the elimination of steps from the synchronization set-up process, making it easier to link any Outlook folder (including subfolders and public folders) to any category on your Palm OS handheld. This efficient synchronization of data offers handheld owners greater convenience and productivity by giving them portable access to important information.

Additional updates include the ability to use the Chapura Calendar to synchronize personal and corporate calendar categories--a feature not supported by the Palm(R) OS Date Book--and an updated version of the user interface.
