Chaparral Appoints New Managers to Engineering and Technical Support Teams.

Chaparral Network Storage, Inc., a leading provider of intelligent storage networking solutions, today announced the expansion of its engineering and technical management teams.

For the engineering team, Kirk Dameron has been appointed to Software Development Manager, and for the technical support team, Thomas Connelly has been named Technical Support Manager.

As Chaparral's new software development manager, Dameron's responsibilities include program management, staffing and project planning. Prior to joining Chaparral, Dameron was with Pena Systems, Inc., a software development and consulting services company, where he served as a systems development manager. Dameron's industry experience before Pena includes Storage Technology Corporation and IBM Corporation.

Connelly will manage the technical support team for Chaparral's existing and new RAID and router product lines. Connelly was formerly the manager of tape engineering for Fujitsu Computer Products, where he was responsible for the development of new and existing features of Fujitsu tape products. Prior to Fujitsu, Connelly served as the senior product support engineer for Storage Technology Corporation.
