Chaparral Appoints New Managers to Engineering and Technical Support Teams.

LONGMONT, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2000

Chaparral chaparral (chăpərăl`), type of plant community in which shrubs are dominant. It occurs usually in regions having from 10 to 20 in. For the engineering team, Kirk Dameron has been appointed to Software Development Manager, and for the technical support team, Thomas Connelly has been named Technical Support Manager.

    As Chaparral's new software development manager, Dameron's responsibilities include program management, staffing and project planning project planning - project management .     Connelly will manage the technical support team for Chaparral's existing and new RAID and router product lines. Connelly was formerly the manager of tape engineering for Fujitsu Computer Products, where he was responsible for the development of new and existing features of Fujitsu tape products. Prior to Fujitsu, Connelly served as the senior product support engineer for Storage Technology Corporation.
