Brian Collie Will Discuss Secure, User Specific WLAN Capabilities for Wireless Networks

Chantry Networks, the leading innovator of routed wireless networking technology, today announced that Co-founder and Executive Vice President, Brian Collie, will discuss the benefits that virtualization capabilities bring to a wireless network infrastructure, today at the Wireless Systems Design Conference in San Diego.

Collie will describe how virtualization allows organizations to create separate virtual subnets that allow different classes of users to access different, appropriately tailored classes of capabilities, over a single WLAN infrastructure. He will discuss exactly how this preserves security while ensuring that each user has access to the network capabilities that are essential to his or her job function. As senior business director of Nortel's Internet Solutions Division, Brian founded the company's first Internet group and established an Internet dial-access business. He has held senior positions with Motorola's Internet and Data Networking Group and Bell Canada's Computer Communication Group (CCG).
