MICK CHANNON last night said that only an abrupt change in the going would prevent 1,000 Guineas favourite Flashy Wings ending her juvenile campaign in the Cheveley Park Stakes The Cheveley Park Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for two-year-old thoroughbred fillies. "The only factor that could stop us is the weather. If it came up soft we wouldn't go."

The going remains good at Newmarket, but clerk of the course Michael Prosser warned: "There are fronts due to pass through on three evenings, each of which could bring up to 6mm of rain."
