Channell Ships First Wireless Equipment Orders.

TEMECULA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 2000

Channell Commercial Corp. (Nasdaq:CHNL CHNL Channel ) Tuesday announced it has commenced shipping new metal enclosure systems specifically designed and manufactured for wireless base stations to Qwest Wireless Owned by Qwest Communications, Qwest Wireless LLC is its cellular phone service offered in the United States. Qwest Wireless is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that operates on Sprint PCS's CDMA network.  (formerly U.S. West Wireless, L.L.C.).

 Series (Rhino(TM)), will be used by Qwest Wireless to house base station electronics and power supplies manufactured by Lucent Technologies and by Ericsson. Based on the initial reception to the RBS Series, Channell is targeting other wireless carriers currently utilizing the popular radio base stations provided by Lucent and by Ericsson.

Key features of the RBS Series include modularity, custom mounting and provisioning, security and aesthetics.
