Channel port piracy; YourSay.


COULD the French fisherman's blockade of the Channel ports be considered as an act of piracy? The French government appears to give in too easily to this blackmail as they have done in the past and thus gives the fishermen in question the right by default to continue their blockade.

As always it is tourists and haulage drivers who suffer the inconvenience and financial costs involved.

There should be a more acceptable way to resolve these disputes.
