Channel Launches Expand Global Brand.


Over the past four years, E! Entertainment Television has embarked on a course to extend its entertainment brand. abroad. In the beginning, the company's goals were simple: license its entertainment programming much like other syndicated shows. But E! eventually found another way to branch out. By joining forces with local media partners, E! sought to create stand-alone channels that were market-specific. The first such channel was Entertainment Television Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. , launched on July 15, 1996 through a partnership with the HBO Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO)

With the launch of the second channel, E!stilo in Spain, E! partnered with Canal Satelite Digital and improved on its branding formula by launching the channel along with a localized Translated into the spoken language of the country. E! Israel will be launched in partnership with Israeli broadcaster Tel-Ad on the brand-new YES DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) A one-way TV broadcast service from a communications satellite to a small round or oval dish antenna no larger than 20" in diameter.  platform on July 1. E! Scandinavia launches in September on the Canal Digital platform with partner NonStop HP's brand name for its fault-tolerant servers, which range in size from four CPUs to 4,000 CPUs.
