Deep Linking Service Tool at NEC-Mitsubishi's Site Now Connects

Browsing Customers to Online Purchase Opportunities Found at

Dealer Sites

Channel Intelligence, Inc. announced today it has finished implementing a key online service tool to propel sales leads to dealers of NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America, Inc., the number one stand-alone vendor for desktop displays and information displays.

With a mouse click or two, Channel Buy Links(SM) permits shoppers visiting the Web site of NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics to be connected directly from product information pages to point-of-purchase pages of dealers offering those products. Functioning within manufacturers' sites, Channel Buy Links enhances the customer's online experience and reinforces NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display's support of its dealer channel by engaging customers and taking them from a detailed product data page to a dealer list, and then directly to a dealer's "buy" page.

"NEC-Mitsubishi integrated this service from Channel Intelligence into our site to help hold consumer interest in our brand and easily guide interested customers to our channel partners where they can buy our products online, or choose to visit a storefront dealer," said Clark Brown Clark Ernst Brown is the vocalist for G/Z/R. "The simplicity of this sales lead driver lets customers find product data on a 17-inch NEC (NEC Corporation, Tokyo, www.nec.com, www.necus.com) An electronics conglomerate known in the U.S. for its monitors. In Japan, it had the lion's share of the PC market until the late 1990s (see PC 98).

No other brand pops up to distract online shoppers along their way to a purchase, and they're free to select a dealer of their choice," he added.

"NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display is a highly respected market leader for flat panel displays A thin display screen for computer and TV usage. The first flat panels appeared on laptop computers in the mid-1980s, and the LCD technology became the standard. Stand-alone LCD screens became available for desktop computers in the mid-1990s and exceeded sales of CRTs for the first time ," said Rob Wight wight 1

"Infusing Channel Buy Links as a key tool within its own Web site underscores how this consumer electronics industry leader always puts the customer first and is adding important new services to enhance every pathway to profitable growth," he continued.
