Channel Access to Offer Commcaster Developer's Kit Based on T&S Software's Zeus Suite of Software Applications.

Channel Access today announced a relationship with T&S Software whereby Channel Access will offer a complete development platform engineered for T&S Software's suite of telephony applications, Zeus(TM). Channel Access will market Commcaster(TM) with Zeus. They are both designed to serve the requirements of advanced telephony OEMs, VARs, developers and service providers. The Commcaster Developer's Kit will be pre-configured and tested with the core Zeus environment. With this solution, developers can immediately build and deploy applications with IVR (Interactive Voice Response) An automated telephone information system that speaks to the caller with a combination of fixed voice menus and data extracted from databases in real time. , Fax, Call Simulator, Event Monitor and scripting for 8 ports.

Zeus' technology delivers enhanced services on voice and/or data networks for network and enterprise applications. Its base platform includes Zeus IVR and Zeus Fax Services as well as scripting language A high-level programming, or command, language that is interpreted (translated on the fly) rather than compiled ahead of time. A scripting, or script, language may be a general-purpose programming language or it may be limited to specific functions used to augment the running of an , which allows easy on-site customization. Zeus' easy-to-use interface brings together voice, fax, and e-mail communications. Callers can manage their services over the telephone or via the Web.
