ChanneLinx.com, Inc., the leading provider of e-commerce infrastructure to the building materials and construction industry, announced today the formation of a Board of Advisors.

The Board will consult with ChanneLinx's senior management regarding the company's e-commerce products, services, and strategy.

The Board of Advisors is made up of a cross-section of some of the leading experts in the $3.3 trillion worldwide construction industry. The charter members of ChanneLinx's Board of Advisors are as follows.

--Greg Brooks: Brooks is President and CEO of Building Supply Channel, Inc., a Centerville, VA, provider of Internet-based training and professional development tools to the building products industry. He is a Contributing Editor to Hanley-Wood's ProSales magazine, the leading trade publication serving building material dealers and distributors, and was Editor of the publication from 1995 to 1999. A nationally known specialist on building material distribution trends, Brooks has spoken to dozens of industry groups throughout North America.

--Charles Irsch: Irsch is Vice President, Information Systems of Centex Homes. Centex Homes, the primary home building operation of Centex Corporation (NYSE: CTX), consistently ranks among the largest multi-market, single-family home producers in the United States. Centex Corporation was recently named to Salomon Smith Barney's "Future Economy Portfolio," which cited the company as one of the most sophisticated and Internet-savvy in the market. From 1988 to 1996, Irsch was a principal of Integrated Services, Inc., a Dallas-based consultancy specializing in systems planning, design, and development.

--Bill Lee: Lee is a former Corporate Vice President of Builder Marts of America (BMA) and General Manager of its Dealer Division. In 1987, he founded Lee Resources, Inc., a Greenville, SC-based consulting firm that specializes in the construction supply industry, and he has been President of the firm since its inception. Since 1987, Lee and his team of professionals have conducted over 700 seminars and consulting assignments for construction supply clients throughout the United States and Canada.

--D. Bruce Merrifield, Jr.: Merrifield is President of The Merrifield Consulting Group based in Chapel Hill, NC. Since starting his management consulting practice in 1980, Merrifield has given countless presentations to over 100 trade associations and many of the United States' largest corporations. Merrifield is Honorary Chairman and shareholder of a West Coast distribution firm that he purchased in 1983 before revamping its strategic direction and performance. The firm currently has 350 employees, 13 locations, and current sales of $120 million. Merrifield sits on Advisory Boards for a number of corporations, including over twelve Internet B2B startups.

--Curtis L. Peltz: Peltz is President and Chief Executive Officer of Timberline Software Corporation (NASDAQ: TMBS), the worldwide leader in construction software. He has been with the company since 1978 and has served in several capacities, including consulting, product development, and corporate management positions. Peltz was the primary force behind the creation of Timberline's highly successful Precision Collection of estimating software, which maintains the number one position in the US construction industry. Over 25,000 construction companies around the world currently use Timberline's software.

Serving as a consultant to the Board is Ben D. Nolan, III, P.E., the Principal in charge of Arthur Andersen's Construction Risk Management practice. Nolan is a recognized business advisor and thought leader on e-business issues and capital projects. His career includes positions with the nation's largest government construction organization, one of the world's largest private construction companies, and specialty contractors in the marine, heavy-civil, utility, transportation, and environmental industries. He also founded and was President of a general contracting company.
