Smarter Choices is running a pilot in the Low Fell area of Gateshead, asking two thousand households to take part in a three-week project. They will be shown the advantages of travelling by public transport, cycling, walking or car sharing. 'Go Smarter in Low Fell' encourages commuters to think about the other options available to them for their journey to work or shopping, and highlights the health and financial benefits.
