Changing the face of city.Three planning proposals which would change the face of chunks of Newcastle will be outlined to councillors this week. Planners say the two city centre bids and one in Scotswood are considered "particularly significant in terms of their scale and form" and will go to Friday's meeting of the council's Development Control Committee. Two of the applications are within the Discovery Quarter of the city centre.
