The park caters for families and couples only, sub-letting is prohibited and there are no bars, clubs or any commercialised facilities. Coquetdale is set within a mature, well developed, 35 acre, tree-lined country estate, entirely surrounded by open farmland dating back over 40 years. All holiday homes have unspoilt panoramic views up the Coquet Valley and Simonside Hills The Simonside Hills are a hill range in Northumberland, England near the town of Rothbury. Most of the hills are around 300–400 m high and are popular spots for hikers in the area. The highest point is Tosson Hill at 440 m. . Breathtaking landscapes offer golf, fishing, cycling, walking and tennis for those looking for a change of pace and lifestyle. It is conveniently located 40 minutes from Newcastle, 15 minutes from the coast and 40 minutes from the Scottish borders The Scottish Borders, often referred to simply as the Borders, is one of 32 local government council areas of Scotland.[1] It is bordered by Dumfries and Galloway in the west, South Lanarkshire and West Lothian in the north west, City of Edinburgh, East Lothian, .
