 brought Christmas cheer to marketers of video game accessory A video game accessory is a separate piece of hardware that is required to use a video game console, or one that enriches the video game's play experience. Essentially, video game accessories are everything except the console itself, such as controllers, memory, power adapters (AC), and  products this year.

"And secondly, by the phenomenal success of our new Game Boy Color The Game Boy Color (ゲームボーイカラー   line such as Worm Light light attachment, Shock `N' Rock 4-in-1 game enhancer and Power Link cables. Retailers did well where they hit key retail price points such as the $9.95 Worm Light and $19.95 for Shock `N' Rock."
