On May 10, Canon Communications (cancom.com) announced the acquisition of Nepcon East, Assembly Technology Expo and six other trade shows from Reed Elsevier (reed-elsevier.com). Terms were not disclosed; the deal was set to close in June. Canon is expected to merge Nepcon with its own OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it.
