Change winding rolls in gap mode.

A one-of-a-kind winder built by Windmoeller & Hoelscher's Reinhold Reinhold is a surname and given name, and may refer to:

As a surname:
  • Erasmus Reinhold, 16th-century German astronomer; The lunar crater Reinhold is named after him.
winder division in Germany is believed to be the only non-turret winder in the world that maintains constant-gap winding mode during roll changes. Built two years ago for Optimum Plastics Inc., Delaware, Ohio Delaware is a city in the U.S. state of Ohio and the county seat of Delaware CountyGR6. The municipality is located near the center of the state of Ohio, about 20 miles (32 km) north of Columbus, Ohio. Delaware was founded in 1808, incorporated in 1816. , it's a custom version of Reinhold's Filmatic R winder with gap, center, and surface winding modes, plus the added feature of a drive motor on the winding shaft shaft (shaft) a long slender part, such as the diaphysis of a long bone.

shaft
n.
1. An elongated rodlike structure, such as the midsection of a long bone.

2.
. This allows it to wind in gap mode during roll changes. Usually a gap winder meets a roll in surface-winding mode during roll changes, followed by a lay-on roller roller, common name for brightly colored Old World birds noted for performing somersaults in flight. They include the rollers proper (subfamily Coraciinae) and ground rollers (subfamily Brachypteraciinae  contacting the film. In this case, the film contacts the roll at the same time as the SoftTouch lay-on roller, giving better winding control. This enhancement, called "Tangential-Kiss Gap-Winding Mode," is now standard on Filmatic R winders. Tel: (401) 333-2770 * PT Direct: 689FK
