Change in Tele Danmark's Executive Committee.

COPENHAGEN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--Tele Danmark A/S (NYSE: TLD), the Danish telecommunications services group, today announced that Mr. Ralf Egede Andersen (Market) has notified the Company that he wishes to retire from his position in Tele Danmark, because of age. Consequently, the Board of Directors has considered the organization of the Executive Committee of Tele Danmark and has agreed that, President & Chief Executive Officer Henning Dyremose will, until further notice, take over the responsibility of the Domestic Telecommunication Business in preparation for coordination and restructuring of these businesses. As a consequence, Mr. Gregers E. Mogensen (Networks) retires by mutual consent.

As earlier announced, Mr. John R. Anderson, Chief Operating Officer, retired from Tele Danmark as of February 19, 1999 to take up a new position as Vice President Corporate Strategy at Ameritech Corporation. The Board of Directors has today decided that John Anderson will be replaced by Mr. Daniel Ray Mace, who will be responsible for Special Business and Services. At this point in time this includes Procurement, Logistics and Billing for the whole group and the business units Tele Danmark Forlag (Directories), Cable TV and Satellite & Broadcast.

Presently, Mr. Daniel Ray Mace is Vice President Finance and Administration/CFO in Ameritech Advertising Services, a subsidiary of Ameritech Corporation.

After March 15, 1999 Tele Danmark's Executive Committee will consist of Mr. Henning Dyremose, President & Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hans Munk Nielsen, Executive Vice President, CFO, Mr. Henning Vest, Executive Vice President, International and Mr. Daniel Ray Mace, Executive Vice President, Special Business and Services.
