NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 2, 2001

FGII Ventures, Unwired Fund and Sun Technology

Join in Backing Mobile Business Services Provider

Change Technology Partners, Inc. (OTCBB: CTPI CTPI - Champion Tree Project International), a public company that acquires, integrates, and actively manages Internet service and infrastructure companies, today announced that it has made a first round investment in LiveSky Solutions Inc., a mobile business strategies and technology solutions provider. Change was joined in its investment by FG II Ventures, the Unwired Fund and Sun Technology.

LiveSky Solutions creates and implements innovative mobile business strategies and technology solutions for the enterprise market, enabling companies to coordinate all aspects of wireless technology and make key applications accessible to mobile workers via a host of wireless devices. LiveSky's services include mobile business strategy, application development, and integration and hosting. The company's technologists have expertise in the latest wireless computing platforms, including WAP-enabled cell phones, Palm, PocketPC and RIM Blackberry devices.

LiveSky Solutions is partnering with leading wireless technology vendors, including AvantGo, iConverse, Marbles, NetMorf and Palm, working to pursue new business opportunities, co-market existing services and products and develop new wireless applications. While wireless technology advances and the number of mobile workers grows, market estimates indicate that there will be more than 700 million wireless Internet subscribers by 2004.(1)

According to Matthew Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Change Technology, "LiveSky's strategy recognizes that the market for wireless development and integration services is in its infancy and growing rapidly. When the market for development services begins to accelerate, LiveSky Solutions will be positioned as the leading mobile business services provider. LiveSky Solutions fits well with Change's portfolio companies whose objectives are to help traditional companies migrate to the New Economy."

Frank Selldorff, Chairman of LiveSky Solutions, added, "While the wireless Web represents an attractive near-term opportunity, we are focusing on the emerging mobile business market. By combining business strategy expertise with wireless and enterprise IT technology skills, LiveSky Solutions will be able to develop robust, scalable, fully-integrated mobile business applications."

LiveSky's seasoned management team has significant experience in building successful technology services firms. The Company was founded in 2000 by Reach Incubator, Frank Selldorff, founder of Breakaway Solutions Inc. (NasdaqNM: BWAY BWAY - Breakaway Solutions (stock symbol)), a publicly traded Internet integrator, and Kevin Yen, formerly of Andersen Consulting. LiveSky is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

LiveSky represents the third direct investment by Change Technology Partners. Other investments include Broadstream.com, an innovative streaming media management company, and eHotHouse, Inc., an interdisciplinary professional e-services firm focusing on e-commerce strategy, application systems integration and marketing services.
